Details: Nortrax Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of John Deere, is seeking a Sales Representative within their Northern Maine AOR that would be responsible for the sale, rental, or leasing of all new and used John Deere and “all-makes” equipment, parts and service.  Candidates will also be expected to meet customer’s needs and grow market share, while maintaining acceptable levels of gross profit and attaining sales unit targets . In this position, qualified candidates will also perform the following:  Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, prepare contracts and record and close orders Manage and maximize rental conversions Grow and develop customer relationships and loyalty to increase market share Manage and control sales related expenses Meet or exceed Company targets for units, dollars and gross profit Manage designated territories and customers to maximize our presence on equipment purchases Manage market awareness and provide lost sales reports Work with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their equipment needs Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support Sell parts or service to enhance the after sale value of our product and to insure return business Sell allied support services such as PM’s and undercarriage repair and replacement Keep accurate and up to date call logs, prospect lists and mileage information Provide status report to sales manager as to achievement of goals and objectives Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and special deals Provide feedback to other departments Provide trade-in information when requested Maintain a contact management type database for designated territory Make frequent opportunity calls and generate new customers MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE CUSTOMER TO DO BUSINESS

Each year, the Navy completes hundreds of construction, renovation, maintenance and building projects all over the world. You may find yourself surveying a critical airstrip location or conducting tests on soil samples for an amphibious landing zone. Or you may piece together satellite images to form large-image maps of a foreign town destroyed by an earthquake or a typhoon, providing important information for rescue and rebuilding efforts. The duties found in this field are of the utmost importance to the Navy and call for detail-oriented, resourceful and creative personnel.
